T-Shirt Making Sewing Class

Service Description

1.5 HR 3 Session Class: Sun Oct 20th 12:30 - 2pm Sun Nov 17th 12:30 - 2pm Sun Dec 15th 12:30 - 2pm Registration Required T-shirt Class Description: Join us and learn to sew a t-shirt. This a simple, size inclusive pattern from Closet Core which can be downloaded for free from their web site. The pattern includes instructions on t-shirts in two different lengths and both short and long sleeves. The first class will talk about reading and printing patterns, choosing the right pattern size and selecting fabric. We have some jersey fabric available for use in class and students are also welcome to bring their own fabric. Students will cut the t-shirt out at home. In the second and third class we will sew the t-shirt on a standard sewing machine. We will discuss the best needle and stitches to be successful in sewing jersey fabric. This class is for intermediate beginners and all students must know how to use a sewing machine or have taken the introduction to sewing class on 20th October. IMPORTANT: Every student will need to bring their own copy of the pattern, downloaded and printed from the Closet Core website.

Scheduled Call to Artist Interviews may be reschedule and/or changed to be conducted over zoom if notified in advance. To reschedule your tour please contact us within 8 hours. All bookings, workshop, ticket fees are non-refundable. However some workshops you may receive a credit to use towards another scheduled workshop for the same or equal value.
